Friday, July 18 – "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" on West Beach at the white rock
“Pee Wee's Big Adventure” (1985/Colour/90 mins/PG) begins when Pee-Wee Herman's most prized possession - his shiny new bicycle - is stolen, sending him off on an obsessive, hilarious cross-country journey to recover it. Before the show, enjoy music by The Glen Pearson Band and support our evening's charity Semiahmoo Family Place.
Our FREE outdoor movie is a great kick-off to the 29th Annual Tour de White Rock cycling race July 18-20 (www.tourdewhiterock.ca). Before the show, enjoy the Homelife Hill Climb, an exciting dash to the top of Buena Vista Avenue in the heart of White Rock from Oxford Street on West Beach at 6pm. FREE.
Seating: As this evening's screening is in a confined natural surrounding along the shoreline, we recommend that you come early to get a good seat. Screening takes place on grass. Blankets, camp chairs, lawn chairs are welcome. Parking: $2/hr pay parking is available on West & East Beach parking lots and along Marine Drive. Please do not park in residential neighbourhoods, shopping centre or private parking lots. Buses: White Rock is accessible by buses 321, 345, 351, 352 and 394. Venue is accessible by Community Shuttles C51, C52 or C53.

FIVE CORNERS FIESTA BLOCK PARTY & STREET DANCE
Saturday, July 19 – 11:00am to 10:00pm
Celebrate summer and come party in the streets of White Rock's historic Five Corners with the cyclists of the Tour de White Rock and the merchants along Johnston Road and Pacific Avenue for a Mexican-themed day of family fun. From 11am to 3pm there's a street-long sidewalk sale, things to sample and try, an all-day BBQ, classic car show, non-stop entertainment, a bike parade and much more. Stay for the Tour de White Rock Criterium bike race starting at 4:30pm, then kick back and enjoy a free street dance with The Jason Buie Blues Band live in concert!
